Garden Centre Shopping

Been helping Jackie (and Kevin) with landscaping their yard. Jackie and Uncle Dave did a lot of work to get the beds ready, take out weeds, clay, and put good soil, bricks etc back in place and ready for the plants.

(This isn't exactly the "before" picture.) It's the after the "before" picture but before the "after" picture.

We went to a local garden centre to see what was available. Just easier to show Jackie what some of the plants I had suggested would look like. Easier to show her at a garden centre than at the wholesale nursery. Here there are pictures, labels and prices right on the plant.

It was interesting to be back in the garden centre environment. I wondered what the plant salesman was thinking when we walked around looking at the plants with a list. He did come over to explain about one plant and had to tell us all he knew about that plant- how big it grew, and what conditions it liked and how to grow it. That was okay because Jackie could hear about it, but I almost stopped listening, because I already knew it.
