Who ate the cat food?

This picture is not very clear. Our adopted cat Joey finally came out of hiding. At least we thought he did because the cat food we left on the verandah was disappearin
g each night. But why was the water in the water dish always muddy.

I said, raccoons are known to wash their food. There's been a raccoon eating the cat food.

No, No. It's the cat.
Well the cat started to come around, came in the house, ate some cat food. We even saw it eating out of the dish if we were still up and watching.

But last night, a creature with a mask and a striped tail showed up at the door.

Guess we'll try to control the table setting for the cat food.
