Another year
Time to celebrate. Ken Murray changed the Turf King picnic from August 20 to Aug 22 so we could go out to celebrate. The church board meeting was postponed for similar reasons.
So we went out to Spencer's in Burlington. We enjoyed a meal and watched the waves crash into the shore as it got dark. It was an unusually cool evening for that time of year.
We took the next day off work and headed out to St Jacobs where we spent some time at the St Jacobs Market. Then we spent the night at a bed and breakfast (Olde Bridge Place Bed & Breakfast Inn) which is located right next to Ontario's longest covered bridge in West Montrose. Again the weather was cool, but the room was cozy and comfortable.
We had to go to the variety store across the road to get a lighter- couldn't find any matches in the room to light the candles.
